Question 1

1. What's your favorite candle?

Accepted Answer

My favorite candle I've ever made is Campfire, which smells just like campfire smoke. The place I get the oil from went out of business so I'm searching for a new vendor with just the right scent. Hopefully it will be back in the store in the next year.

Question 2

2. What's your best seller?

Accepted Answer

Washington Park. If I ever discontinue it (I WON'T I PROMISE!!!), there will probably be a riot. (Fun Fact: as I was editing, I saw I'd typed "beast seller" insead of "best seller." I almost left the typo in. ;) )

Question 3

3. Why don't you have a (insert certain scent here) candle?

Accepted Answer

I'm extremely sensitive to scents. Sometimes I try a scent and it gives me a headache or makes me literally nauseated. I only make what I like and what my nose and stomach will tolerate. Which is why you'll never see patchouli, anything smelling like clean laundry, most water scents, or lavender. In fact, I've discontinued all the scents I had which include patchouli notes.

Question 4

4. Do you ever have sales?

Accepted Answer

With the exception of the sale wax melts, not usually. I keep my prices well below the prices you'll find for candles of comparable quality and size from other businesses.

Question 5

Accepted Answer

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. I use the correct amount of fragrance oil and stir like a madwoman to ensure the oil is distributed evenly througout the wax.

Question 6

6. What kind of wax, wicks, and oils do you use?
